Bio
Back in 1996, I graduated from the National Film School in Rome, Italy (Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia), where I studied with Giuseppe Rotunno. Of course, back then, we worked with film.
My experience shooting with film now informs my digital cinematography so I can further enhance story-telling through technical innovation while never forgetting the roots of traditional filmmaking. Every project I work on is an opportunity to push boundaries and discover new visual languages.
I’ve shot movies in deserts, on the sea, under crowds, and surrounded by singing drag queens… everywhere from the alleyways of Rome, to the bustling streets and markets of Shanghai, New York, Paris, Cuba...
